• Vivo V17 Pro, the next-generation smartphone in the company's V series has been leaked online along with its detailed specifications and clear renders. The new Vivo phone is found to have a dual pop-up selfie camera module as well as a quad rear camera setup. The Chinese company is also speculated to have provided an in-display fingerprint sensor. Apart from its specifications, a promo video of the Vivo V17 Pro has emerged online that highlights its key camera features. Some camera samples of the V17 Pro have also surfaced on the Web to suggest what we can expect from the new smartphone.
• German tech site WinFuture has published the specifications of the Vivo V17 Pro. The smartphone is said to have a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1080x2440 pixels) Super AMOLED display along with a 21:9 aspect ratio. There is also the in-display fingerprint sensor that sits under the screen.
• In terms of imaging capabilities, the Vivo V17 Pro is said to have a pop-up selfie camera module that will house a 32-megapixel primary sensor with a wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The dual camera is claimed to enable wide-angle selfies along with a bokeh effect.
• At the back, the Vivo V17 Pro is rumoured to include the quad camera setup that will house a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a wide-angle lens, and two 2-megapixel sensors -- one of them would be used for depth sensing.
• Vivo is also said to have provided an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC on the V17 Pro, similar to the V15 Pro. Further, the new phone is rumoured to have up to 8GB of RAM and at least 128GB of onboard storage.
• The V17 Pro is said to run Android 9 Pie and come with a list of connectivity options that include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, you can expect dual-SIM (Nano) support on the smartphone.
• On the battery front, the smartphone is said to have a 4,100mAh battery. It is also rumoured to have a thickness of 9.8 milimetres and a weight of 202 grams.
• Price and availability of the Vivo V17 Pro are yet to be announced. However, the handset was recently teased in a promo for Indian reality show Bigg Boss. It is, thus, likely to debut in India soon.
• Meanwhile, the leaked renders of the Vivo V17 Pro, courtesy WinFuture, suggest a fresh design with vertically-aligned rear camera setup and a curved back panel. The display panel of the smartphone is also said to have scratch resistance.
• A tipster who uses Twitter account @bang_gogo_ has posted a promo video of the Vivo V17 Pro that showcases "Wider Selfie, Clearer Night" as its tagline. The video also highlights the artificial intelligence (AI) backed rear camera setup as well as the dual pop-up selfie camera that would support super wide-angle self-portraits. The back camera would also support a Super Night Mode for an enhanced low-light imaging experience.

• The Vivo V17 Pro features a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display that has a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. It results in a pixel density of 403 PPI and features a bezel-less design. The device has a Corning Gorilla Glass protects the display from scratches. The device is armed with a quad primary camera setup having 48MP, 13MP, 8MP and 2MP lenses along with an Exmor-RS CMOS Sensor. These are capable to provide mesmerizing images and can record 4k videos at 30 fps speed. There is a front camera setup having 16MP and 2MP lenses that can click good quality selfies.

OnePlus 7

• The OnePlus 7 is the successor of the OnePlus 6T and was launched alongside the OnePlus 7 Pro. It looks identical to the OnePlus 6T. At the front, the OnePlus 7 sports a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution. The AMOLED panel has good viewing angles and has multiple display modes to choose from. OnePlus has opted for a dewdrop notch on the 7 which houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The OnePlus 7 has Corning Gorilla Glass protection at the front and the back which should help it resist scratches.
• Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC that is capable of running every game out there. There are two variants of the OnePlus 7, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. We had the 8GB RAM variant for review and it managed to score high in all our benchmark tests. It was snappy for day-to-day performance but could also handle heavy games easily.
• The OnePlus 7 packs in a 3700mAh battery and is able to deliver all-day battery life. The company supplies a 20W charger with the phone and it is capable of topping the battery up completely in an hour.
• OnePlus has opted for a dual camera setup on the phone consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The camera performance was slightly disappointing and the camera suffered in low-light conditions. On the software front, the phone runs on Oxygen OS 9.5 on top of Android 9.0 Pie. There are useful software additions on top that are very useful.
• The OnePlus will compete with the Asus ZenFone 6 and the Redmi K20 Pro, both of which were upcoming devices when we reviewed the OnePlus 7.
• The OnePlus 7 mobile features a 6.41" (16.28 cm) display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and runs on Android v9.0 (Pie) operating system. The device is powered by Octa core (2.84 GHz, Single core, Kryo 485 + 2.42 GHz, Tri core, Kryo 485 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 485) processor paired with 6 GB of RAM. As far as the battery is concerned it has 3700 mAh. Over that, as far as the rear camera is concerned this mobile has a 48 MP + 5 MP camera Exmor RS sensor supporting a resolution of 8000 x 6000 Pixels and the front snapper is powered by a Exmor RS sensor. Other sensors include Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope. So, does it have a fingerprint sensor? Yes, it does. For graphical performance that can make games run smoothly, this phone has got a Adreno 640 GPU. On board storage is at 128 GB with the option to expand the memory by No. Design is one of the most important factors when it comes to mobiles. This phone is 8.2 mm slim and weighs 182 grams. 

• On the rear, the OnePlus 7 sports 16MP+5MP camera setup. The camera is assisted by dual-LED flash and image enhancing features such as UltraShot, Nightscape, Studio Lighting, Portrait, Pro Mode, HDR, and more. There is a 16MP selfie snapper on the front that also supports Face Unlock feature and is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps and also time-lapse videos.
