• The U10 is the first handset from Vivo's latest U-series. This youth-centric online-exclusive smartphone focuses on capabilities and fast-charging tech on a budget. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 665 chipset and has 3 GB of RAM. In terms of imaging, the phone comes with a dual-camera setup. For selfies, you get an 8 MP shooter. The phone draws power from a 4030 mAh battery. On the software front, you get Android 9 Pie with Vivo's Funtouch OS on top. Some of the other popular Vivo mobile phones include the Vivo U1, Vivo NEX 3, and the Vivo iQOO Plus 5G.

• The Chinese smartphone company has listed the Vivo U10 on its online store launch on 23 Sept. 2019. The Vivo U10 will feature a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Vivo is promising a talk-time worth 4.5 hours with 10 minutes of charging.
• Additionally, Vivo U10 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 665 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM. The phone will include an external memory card slot with support for storage up to 256GB. The phone will also feature a 6.35-inch HD+ display with a small waterdrop-shaped display notch.
• As for the cameras, the Vivo U10 will include three rear cameras. There's a 13-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel super-wide-angle secondary camera, and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing camera at the rear.
• The Vivo U10 also includes an Ultra Game Mode that promises to enhance your gaming experience. It includes a bunch of features such as low blue-ray eye protection, 4D vibrations, do not disturb while playing games, and other features that are targeted at mobile gamers.
• The phone will be available in two colour variants, Electric Blue and Thunder Black. Vivo is set to launch the U10 at 12pm (noon) on 24 Sept. 2019.
• To recall, Vivo launched its first smartphone in the U-series back in February this year in China. The Vivo U1 is an affordable smartphone with dual rear camera setup.

• The Vivo U10 price in India is expected to be Rs. 11,990. Vivo U10 launch is expected to be in September, 2019. The 32GB variant costs around Rs. 11,990 and comes in Black colour.

• The phone has a plastic back with a glass-like finish. It creates a neat effect when you shine a light on it. The bezels are quite thin save for the chin area. It has a v-shaped notch to accommodate a selfie camera. For its price, the phone has quite a thin profile.

• The Vivo U10 sports a 6.3-inch HD+ display. The IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel offers wide viewing angles. The panel has a v-shaped notch and pixel dimensions of 720 x 1520. There's no word on whether the phone has any scratch-resistant coating.

• The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 665 chipset. This 11 nm processor comprises of four Kryo 260 Gold clocked at 2.0 GHz and four power-efficient Kryo 260 Silver cores running at 1.8 GHz. The gaming bit will be handled by the Adreno 610 GPU. It is good enough to handle casual games. You can even run titles such as PUBG at low settings. The phone has 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. On the software side of things, you get Android 9 Pie with Vivo's FunTouch OS skin on top.

• The Vivo U10 has a dual-camera setup in 13 MP + 5 MP configuration. The camera UI offers AI filter, Backlight HDR, Portrait bokeh, AR stickers, time-lapse, and Ai Beauty modes. The 8 MP front-facing camera comes with offers AI beauty and some neat light effects. This module also powers the device's face-unlock feature.

• The phone comes with a 4,030 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging tech. The device has a micro-USB port and the company has also retained the 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Vivo U10 is a dual SIM device with support for 4G. Other features include Bluetooth 5.0 and A-GPS (network assisted).

• Vivo has become the latest smartphone maker to launch a 5G smartphone. The Chinese company on Thursday introduced the new iQoo Pro 5G Edition at a press event in China. The Vivo iQoo Pro will also offered in a 4G-only variant. The new phone joins the likes of iQoo, iQoo Neo in the company's iQoo series and shares a number of design elements with the original Vivo iQoo phone. The Vivo iQoo Pro comes with features like a 6.41-inch display with a waterdrop-style notch, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, and 4,500mAh battery.

• The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo iQoo Pro 5G Edition supports 5G connectivity in one slot and 4G LTE in the other, whereas the 4G variant comes with 4G connectivity support in both slots. Apart from the connectivity differences, other specifications of the 5G Edition are same as the 4G model. The phone runs on FuntouchOS 9, based on Android 9 Pie, and features a 6.41-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Additionally, the company has packed a 4,500mAh battery with support for 44W fast charge.
• On the imaging front, there is a triple rear camera setup on the back of Vivo iQoo Pro, which houses an AI-powered 48-megapixel primary shooter, a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The company has also added a 12-megapixel (Dual-Pixel) selfie camera on the front.
• Vivo has also packed up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage inside the phone with no expansion support. Other specifications of the phone include NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and Hi-Res Audio support. Vivo iQoo Pro measures 158.77x75.73x9.325mm. The 4G variant weights 215 grams and the 5G variant weighs 217 grams.

Vivo iQOO Pro prices, availability

• The iQOO Pro 4G variant will be available in two variants. The base model with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM costs CNY 3,198 (approximately Rs 32,300). The top model with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM costs CNY 3,498 (approximately Rs 35,300).
• The iQOO Pro 5G variant, on the other hand, comes in three variants. The base model with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM costs CNY 3,798 (approximately Rs 38,400). The mid variant with 256GB storage and 8GB RAM costs CNY 3,998 (approximately Rs 40,400). Lastly, the top model with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM costs CNY 4,098 (approximately Rs 41,400).
• Buyers will be able to choose from three color options. The iQOO Pro 4G variant will go on sale in China starting August 29. The iQOO Pro 5G variant, on the other hand, will go on sale starting September 2. There is currently no word on Vivo’s plans to launch these smartphones in other markets.

• The Vivo iQOO comes with 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display having a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels and a sharp density of 402 PPI. It has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 that makes it look stylish. Thus, the bezel-less display will be appreciated by the users. 
• The device has been equipped with the octa-core processor that runs at a speed of 2.84GHz. It is seated upon the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip that can provide great performance together. It has the Adreno 640 GPU and 6GB RAM that provides a good multitasking and gaming experience.

• The device has been provided with a triple camera set up at the rear with 12MP, 13MP and 2MP. It can capture amazing pictures with great clarity and a crisp finish. It comes with a 12MP front lens that captures superb quality selfie pictures one would love to share.
• For the power backup, there is a Li-ion battery having a capacity of 4,000mAh. It can supply huge power backup to keep the device running for a long time.

• The Vivo iQOO comes with internal storage of 128 GB that is too spacious to keep multiple files of the users. It also has an expandable memory that supports up to 256Gb via a microSD card.
• For the connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth, A-GPS, Glonass, NFC, USB Type-C, etc.
