Reno 2 specifications
- The leak confirms that the Oppo Reno 2 will sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED notch-less display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 500 nits of brightness. This also confirms previous leak which hinted the same. Other leaks from TENAA has earlier revealed that the Reno 2 will sport a fullHD+ display, a 4,000mAh battery and also mentions the three different colour variants.
- The JD.com listing also reveals that the phone will have 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage onboard. It also reveals the quad-camera setup at the back which houses the 48-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel telephoto sensor, 8-megapixel ultrawide angle sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. While the new leak does not say much about the processor, Oppo has already confirmedthat the Reno 2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. The latest listing mentions that the phone has Game Boost 2.0 which contradicts the Game Boost 3.0 rumour which was reported earlier.
- Oppo's website showed that the Reno 2 looks similar to the original Reno series with an edge-to-edge notchless display in the front. It has a shark-fin style angular pop-up camera. The phone has a curved glass rear panel which looks similar with the vertical camera setup that will sit flush with the glass, and it has no camera bump. The phone will have Gorilla Glass 6 which will protect its against bumps and scratches. Leaked renders also shows off three colour options of the Reno 2 which includes green, blue and white colours.
- Reno 2 will reportedly have a quad camera setup that will include a 20x zoom camera which will be capable of clicking detailed and clear images. It will reportedly have a 20MP front camera which will be able to click picture perfect selfies.
- The flagship Reno 2 smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 855+ chipset, however the company is yet to confirm the details. The phone is expected to have powerful specifications and would be able to handle mmost tasks with ease. It will ship with Android 9.0 out of theb box.
- Connectivity wise the phone will have Bluetooth, USB, WiFi, GPS, 3G and 4G support. It will come with an array of sensors including fingerptrint, Bluetooth, usb, wifi, among others.
- The phone is expected to come with a powerful battery and fast charging capabilities. The Reno 2 will come with an expandable memory which will help store all your images, data, etc.
- India will be the first market to receive the Reno 2-series as the company plans to grab a stronger foothold in the market. Oppo is rumoured to launch around six new Oppo phones in India before Diwali this year.
- OPPO Reno 2 price in India is expected to be approximately Rs. 44,900. The phone is expected to be launched in August end. The phone is designed to compete with premium phones with its powerful features.
